Ok this is a retarded question, but how am I supposed to beat the fishing contest quest? I feel so noobish, but anyway, i used the garlic on the wall pipe and then went to fish, and the sinister dude won anyway at my old spot. It's driving mne insane, can anyone help?

i think ur supposed to fish first, talk to sinister, then talk to him
then.... use ur garlic on the pipes then u can catch 2 or 3 carps and bonzo will call u the winner
