I reckon there should be a new area of the wilderness, which is clan-based. It should contain 2 deserted castles (like c wars) where clans can fight each other.

Mages and rangers can stand up in the towers, firing from above. There should be a catapult (again, like c wars), which is extremely slow to reload but deals alot of damage.

When you fight, you have a red/blue skull so its easier to see who you are fighting.
Maybe, if possible, clan leaders could register their clan names at the castle, so outside the castle on a banner or w/e it shows the last 5 battles. For example:

DI v Tlp Winners-DI

You will lose your stuff if you die, and the losing clan is the one which has no remaining alive members.

This would give clans more chance to fight each other, and more places to go, rather than just fighting at the greater demon area.

Yes.. and clans can fight in the Castle Wars, great idea!
Also, did you notice the new areas in the wilderness on the far east side? Where there are abandoned buiding and stuff there.. I wonder what those could be used for...

Jagex will be comming out with more clan support. Things like this take a long time to make.

Free to Play Castle wars would provide excellency for many clans that are f2p based.

Eh I think Castle Wars should stay members simply because It's a complex game and mems. would just come and OWN all the f2p players. Besides castle wars wouldn't be fun with lvl 40 people in there. Not to mention all the coding Jagex had to do to get that going. It deserves to be paid for.

Maybe there should be a clan element to staking. Clans could stake what they wanted and get an entire arena, and then the clan would split the spoils if they won.

Wow.... I posted an idea almost identical to this one about a month ago on my old clans forums. Except people got mad @ me cause I likened the archers shooting down in insurgents.
