What would you guys suggest as being the best way to make GP when you first start out on RS?

should i do the quests or keep killin stuff?

If you have just started playing, I think the best way to earn $ is killing cows, picking the cowhides. then sell them for 100 gp ea. :wink:

You should get your mining up so you mine coal and sell the coal for 150gp each or either do what lovefire0 suggested with her cowhides~ 100gp scheme

50 Craft or if u have 70 Craft that wud help you alot

What to do:
Buy rubies 1k ea.
Mine gold ores/bars (Or buy them)
Buy/Make cosmics

Make Str ammys

Sell them for 3-5k ea.!!!

What to do:
Buy diamonds 5k ea.
Mine goal ores/bars (or buy them)
Buy/make cosmics

Make power ammys

Sell them for 10k ea.!!!

If your free, then mine or woodcut and sell the coal/ willow or yew logs. If your p2p then fletch yew longs and high alch them. If you have real low stats then you're just gonna have to train cus the real money doesnt come in til you have around 60/70 plus stats. unless you can craft natures, thats pretty decent money even if it is one of the slower ways.

if it was me i would go to edgvill and just north of the bank there is a building with lots of men. train here, u get exp and money.

When I was a noob I went to the Steel Chest Respawn Area and switched worlds repeatively to get tons of Steel Chests then I'd sell them to that one person who buys them near Varrock Bank, Hovick or something?

Well you could also fish. Its probably the most boring skill in the beggining, but once your start getting into it the fish sell for quite a bit. Level 40 fishing is good, you can fish lobbies that sometimes go for 200ea. :mrgreen:

If you are new I would start out with mining and smithing. Selling the armour makes quite good armour when you go to addy-rune. It is very boring though, I would suggest woodcutting and fishing. Also Runecrafting is good.

Anywho, when i was a n00b all i did was mine and craft my asse off. It really works, then i sold coal 100gp ea 300 at a time basically.

Wc prices:

Yew logs = 250-300gp ea.

Maple logs = 100-200gp ea.

Willows = 25-50gp ea.

Magics = 900gp-1k ea.


Ore Prices:

Coal = 150-170gp ea.

Mith = 250-300gp ea.

Addy = 800-1k ea.

Rune = ????? no set price...it keeps on changing

I think they mean steel plate body not chest. I was confused as well until he said horvik bought them(the armor shop owner north west of the east bank in varrock)

Umm... If you are just starting Rs and have low stats, I would suggest mining rune essence, It doesn't take long, and you can sell for 30-40 each. It's a very easy way for beginners to make money. If you're a member, pick flax. Don't even bother spinning it. You get 1 flax every couple seconds, and they sell for 100gp each.

rune ess is an excelent way to make money

woodcut or mine until u hv like 300k, then buy rune t kites 300ea sell em 350-400, thats a pretty ez way to make money, try not to buy ne thin other then kites they dont sell to well
