Ok, it's a little early to start a topic about it.. But I'm going to the US next year, and I need to decide in what periode I'm going, and I don't want to mis it for the world!

So, around what dates is spring break? And what are the best cities/places to visit?

Myrtle Beach, North Carolina. (Awesome vacation place)
Minneapolis, Minnesota. (Mall of America)
Washington, D.C. (Museums and other amazing stuff related to America)
Sandusky, Ohio. (Cedar Point Amusement Park)
Las Vegas, Nevada. (Legal Prostitution/Casinos to blow your money)
Californa. (Never been there... but... it's different)
Black Hills, South Dakota. (Mt. Rushmore)
Grand Canyon, Arizona. (Grand Canyon)
Niagara Falls, New York. (Niagara Falls but I suggest going into Canada because their side has a much better view)

Any place on the Gulf Coast of Florida, more specifically the panhandel, is the best. The water is nice, warm, not too much wind, and clear. Anything on the Atlantic Coast tends to be cold, dark, windy, and just doesn't look so nice.

Some of these places I'm talking about on the Gulf Coast would be Panama City, Destin, Pensacola, and Gulf Shores. There all right next to each other so if you go to one the others aren't too far out of reach. Further down on the gulf cost, off the pan handel there's Fort Myers, Tampa, Key West(which is just interesting), Sarasota. And don't forget about Orlando which has Disney World and SeaWorld in it.

Charleston, West Virginia. We've got two movie theaters, a Go-Kart arcade, and a Minor League Baseball team that no one watches. Creme of the crop!

But in all honesty, I suggest a couple natural locations (Niagra Falls, Grand Canyon, etc) and a few nice cities like NYC or Chicago.

Go to Wapakoneta, Ohio. Its the best place in the world. Home town of Neal Armstrong (first man on the moon). And its just amazing to eat at Bob Evans located right of I-75.

Hey you have a type in your post. You said that NYC and Chicago are nice cities (no offense to Rker )

Coem to Dallas and Austin Texas. In Dallas, we have the original Six Flags theme park, as well as being one of the biggest cities in the US and the city I live in Austin is also probably one of the most interesting and weird cities there is.

And Spring Break is usually around April, I think.
