Ok so my neglected magic is finally lvl 55 and it needs to be lvl 75 for quest/diary (can't remember which one needed the highest magic).

So far i have thought of 2 options to do it cheaply (don't want to level it in FoG cos that will take way to long).

1. Use curse on the lumbridge dummy. Will cost ~ 1,511,706 gold for runes but will take about 35-37 hours of mindless clicking.

2. Use superheat to make iron bars. If i mine the iron ore and buy the nature runes I will make about 9 profit per bar = 177,255 profit at lvl 75 magic but mining the ore will take ages. Better off mining coal/choping yews then selling coal/logs to buy iron ore.

Anyone have any other good ideas that are relatively cheap/not so time consuming?

Enchanting is the best experience right? So grab some cosmic runes, your selective elemental battlestaff and head out to the Mage Training Arena. There you'll stay in the Enchant room, rack up some nice exp, and eventually win yourself a Mage's Book which will pay off your rune debt.

Assuming you need 75 magic for a members quest meaning you're a member...

alching is also a good way to train magic,

High level alchemy 65xp65k xp per 1k alchs

1k nats round 300k i think roughly

don't need fire runes since you just use fire staff.

I didnt even think about mage training, i will check it out. Yes, am P2p.

for alching its 15,950 x 65xp = 1,036,708xp needed
228gp per rune = 3,636,300g quite expensive + i will have to find something to alch. I am far to lazy to mine/make that many steel platebodies. Although on the bright side its pretty quick xp.

5,323,800 xp to hit 75 with cam teleport. Bit too expensive, from looking at high alch speed/costs my best bet is prolly to alch yew longbows and chop the wood myself.

Gives me the shits that theres no easy way to make fast xp and cash with magic without having to intertwine it with another skill.

Mage Training Arena... it'll cost 2mil to buy the cosmics and that's all you'll need if you have the right staffs. Getting "one" Mage's Book will pay off that debt and I imagine you'll get more than that.

I am up to lvl 60 now, 15 levels to go. I've casted curse 5,946 times on the lumbridge dummy because it was the cheapest method to level and well now i don't ever want to do it again. Cheapest definitely is the most mind destroying.

Camelot teleport is fast before 55 but very expensive.

I'm trying to save my pennies for pray/construct/herb/summoning and pretty much do everything else as cheap as possible. If i wasn't obsessed with getting inferno adze i could prolly get fletching up and make longbows out of my massive stockpile of yews to alch.

Hmm, pest control is ok and free. Use the points. Or wear heavy armour and do curse on that monk under the varrok castle stairs.

This a really noob way to train your level if your lv is LOW! Just get like 1k laws and 3k air and a fire staf and teleport a crap load of times. :p
