Alright, after seeing so many defence noobs and thinking that fire blast would have an effect on them, I beg to ask the questions
"Should I get magic?"
and
"If I was to get magic, what level should I raise it to?"
and
"When rasining magic, at what level should I do/stop doing it without HP gained?"
Honestly, I was thinking about getting around 60 magic, as to have a relatively good fire blast.
And when not pking, alch in a hot zone as to gain money and drop potential, and magic exp [non-hp effected]

Yes get 60 mage! It wont add any cmb lvls to your current cb.

As much as I love magic, I'm going to post to you what I said earlier.
"In my experience, no.
I try to mage rune armour people and all they do is run and remove armour.
It's a big waste in my opinion.
I do understand it can get very frustrating though."
Also consider these few points:
- How often will you use it?
- Do you want to be switching between prayer, magic book and inventory tabs when you're fighting?
- How much money will you waste per fight now?
- What gear will you wear in order to have a mage/prayer/defence bonus?

I think you should get 60 mage though.
Just depends how much you really want to spend.

Mhmm... Hybrid k0 is just horrible.. I've never actually witnessed anybody above lvl 40 cb do a mage/str k0. It also costs lotssss of money in the long run. In my opinion, it's just not worth it. Don't raise mage unless it'll be like lvl 25-40 for teleporting. :p
