How to know if monsters will auto attack?

Is there any way to know at what level monsters will stop auto attacking my new pure?
I want to chop willows/yews around draynor but the jail guards and dark wizards are wanting to kill me. I am unsure of where to look or how to find out at what level they will leave me alone so i can chop in peace.

i think they will stop after you are higher then them well obviously lol but yeah you have to be higher level then them for them to stop auto attacking.

some do and some are agressive for 10minutez
Like flesh crawlers and zombies
No matter what level the are vicious for 10mins

Yeah i like flesh crawlers for herb gathering. My combat on my pure is only 13 but dark wizards still auto and they are only lvl 7, hopefully they will stop at 15 so i can get some willows

Correct, but you must be double their level+1.

So if a level 25 monster is attacking you, it will stop at level 51, not 50.

Also, keep in mind this does now count for the wilderness, where every monster is aggressive.

You have to be a certain level higher than them, if you need a good place to woodcut and you don't care about keeping the logs try the place by the house portal. There's a general store there and you can just re-sell them for like 3-5 gp.

Exactly. So a level 63 dog near greater demons (those are annoying) will stop at 127. I was so happy when I got to that level. Also eventually if you stay in the same area for long enough monsters there become unaggressive.

WC'ing is just about 30 now, just going to use this charecter to WC so i can transfer the cash to my main once hes unbanned. Just gota kill a few more cows so the dark wizards will piss off.
