Make sure when mining/fishing/wc'ing that there aren't npcs around that will auto attack you if your combat is under a certain level. I am pretty sure the wizards at draynor willows attack if your under a certain combat level.
Also for quests goto http://www.tip.it/runescape/?quest_calc Put in your skills/quests you've done and it will tell you want quests you can do and what skills/quests you need to be able to do others. If you click on the quest name it will show you a walkthrough and it will reccomend if you need combat skills or not.

it is always easy to make good money with a high non-combat skill. eg, wc, fishing, mining and so on. what you just need to do is perfect the skills to a certain level. you can even earn money with mage. just get 59 mage. 2 coal+1 iron = 1 steel bar. it costs c. 300+ in g.e. now, and if you have good smithing level, smith em into steel platebodies (1+k each), superheat them.

Fish, woodcut, or mine and use the money to buy firemaking, smithing, or cooking.
