85+ Fishing?

Shall I just keep on fly fishing in Shilo, or is there a faster method? Don't suggest monks, I'm in this for the xp...

^^^The fishing guild is okay xp... Not really any better than Catherby, which is disappointing. People use it mostly for fishing for money, rather than experience.

I think the fastest way is barbarian fishing at Otto's hut, but it's a bit more bothersome than shilo as you need to drop the fish you get.

uhh,

sharks = relativly slow but good money
lobs= both good exp and money
shilo= best exp little money, though the trout and salmon sell good either way.

and monks are same as lobs but more exp.

Bank 3 feet away, bank ur fish, and go back and fish.

Shilo ftw!! The point of fishing is to make money while being extremely bored. Mise well just fish lobbies/monks for cash + exp.

For location (proximity to bank) and speed, Shilo looks best. Once you have all your fish fished, you gonna cook or sell raw in bulk? You might want to save a trip to Exchange and offer some in market section here! Have buyer(s) meet you there.

im going to go with barb fishing
i got almost 2 levels a day but i only did it for like 2 days
so im just fishing sharks
not bad exp here either, its just slower

for all those saying shilo is best, they are wrong.

Shilo is best until 70, then switch to barbarian fly fishing...it's almost like shilo except you need only 25 feathers and you can catch 1 more fish (which gives more xp then salmon)

You can cut the fish and use the offcuts/roe and caviar for bait, allowing you not to waste cash on feathers either.

well, if you had actually read my post above you would of found out that barbarian fishing is faster then shilo after level 70 -.-

Shilo is by far the fastest method. From 87 - 99, I reached 99 in a month or so. Just keep at it! :)
