A bus of genies and a bunch of trips to dragon school. Seriously, it'll go quicker if you can do superheat spell and have nats and staff of fire. A vet player who did the math and told me steel is marginally quicker. No real shorcuts-mining and hitting the furnace then anvils. You did do Knight's Sword, right? If ptp, check quests that give xpts for smithing. Good luck.
