:idea: Hello,and i was doing monkey maddnes then iam on getting stuff to make amulet and i keep dyng on the cave!(place to see zooknook guy).My def is only 45,Do you think i should lvl it up or should i train prayer?Please post

For this part it is strongly advised to wear the best prayer gear you have:

Initiate or Proselyte armor
Broodoo Shield or Holy Book
Holy or Unholy Symbol
The best mace you can wield
Weight-reducing items like Boots of Lightness, Spotted Cape and Penance Gloves.There are also several items you will need to make it through the cave safely:

3 Full Anti-Poison Potions
5+ Energy Potions
3+ Prayer Potions
Lobsters or better for food
A teleport method (Duel ring, Ectophial, etc.)
A Gold Bar, Magical Monkey Dentures, M'Amulet Mould.Hint: Drinking a Super Anti-Poison potion after your first trap protects you long enough to finish the whole dungeon, this can be really handy to spare some inventory space since you will only need one then.
When you have everything, head back to Ape Atoll and enter the dungeon in the south of the jungle. It's a very long cavern full of Zombie Monkeys and Skeleton Gorillas, traps and falling rocks. Hiding under the ledges when the screen shakes avoids the falling rocks but it is better to just take the damage and make a run for it. Have the Protect from Melee Prayer on all the time to protect you from the zombies and skeletons, this is a multi-combat zone so they will swarm you. The traps and falling rocks will still hit and poison you through your prayer but you'll be safe from the skeletons and zombies.


Because you will be wearing that armour it's ok to keep your defence how it is. That armour is best for the Pray bonus.

So you'll be going in looking something like this:

This outfit is good for both Prayer and Def bonus.

With an inventory similar to this:

Just keep pray going as you go through. I haven't done this quest myself but this is what seems most advisable.
