ok well i just started a new account and i was just looking for some pointers of what i should start training and where... i wanted to make some sort of mage pure... i just need some pointers

mine essence,air run,sell the air runes,buy a air staf and 1000 mind runes,to the wizards tower,cast all air strikes. On my old mage pure doing that got me 25 mage.

Your forgot to tell him to do the quest to be able to mine essence. I forgot what quest it is..but someone else will say it.

But you know what I wouldn't do what Limes said, in my opinion. I would get a little cash, buy yourself some cheap robes, an air staff, and go to the Fists of Guthix.

Its located north of Varrock in the wild. The mini-game is safe, and there you get FREE runes when you play the game. So all you would need is a staff, and train on people there. I got from 50 magic to 56 (i didn't stay long there, i got bored).

But hey there might be better ways, thats just what I did and it worked for me. I don't care if it is considered slow to some people...I liked it. :P
