Toragd has one of the best defensive armours in the game and is worth under 1 mill i think

Me, I can afford Helm of Neitzenot (sp? Naughtynutz?), Rune plate, Dragon legs, Rune boots, and Addy gloves.

my defence is level 72, I keep hearing that a fighters torso and bandos tassets are the best

Torag-you may lose it has been proven
Guthans-can beat
Veracs-can beat

Dragon boots
Obby shield or dragon sq (after quest)
amulet of glory
ring of wealth
Veracs flail or dharok greataxe or whip or d long or d skimmy (d = dragon)
and also obby cape
