As F2P, I wouldn't do either, it's not profitable unless you're 75 Mining or 90 Smithing.

Grab a Bronze Axe and start cutting the trees near Lumbridge, there is a General Store there where you can sell those logs. Do this until level 15.

You will be doing the same thing, but with Oak Trees. Cut them and sell them until level 30.

Walk west down the road until you reach Draynor Village, ask one of the people to sell you an Adamant Axe, should be only a couple thousand gold. You will stay here for a while, cut the Willow Trees until level 60 or 70, they're right next to Draynor Bank.

At level 60 or 70 WC, go to Edgeville, which is near the Wilderness ditch, and you will find 2 Yew Trees south of the bank where the dungeon entrance is located, cut those and you will be making cash...around 300 per log. Sell these on the Grand Exchange, along with your Willows. All this cash will be enough to get you some good armor to player-kill with in Clan Wars/BH where the real fun is...I prefer F2P player-killing over P2P because of the lack of complexity.

Well I ASSUME you know already what Woodcutting is, but that's a rough guide of what you should do.

umm...what are your combat skills like? i would recommend killing lvl 83 roaches in the stronghold of player safety. You lvl while at the same time you have a good chance of getting a drop worth 15-22k + laws and deaths that they also drop.

Yeah, those are good, just equip a Ring o Wealth and hope for Rune Square/Scimmy. They also drops bloods, laws, and Deaths. They also have 96 HP, so that's about 400 experience. AND if you range them, they have a horrid range attack that doesn't hit at all...so good for rangers.

Only bad thing is they have a slightly high defense, so if you have only 40 attack they'd be hard to hit.

He can't get a ring of wealth because he's f2p,and they may drop blood runes in a members world but not in a free-to-play world.

I do the loop with one acct: Karmaja for fishing (bring some logs to cook and a dozen nature runes), fight lessers till you eat food. Mine and superheat the mithril and coal above ground near those two lessers. Really low on food? Fight moss giants. They drop natures and other good stuff. Tele to Lumby, then Fally and loop around again. You heal while mining and might get rune med or two. Bring some fire runes in case lessers don't drop. I killed a couple dozen once and got nothing but steel axes. Nice prayer btw.

you got some nice stats for a f2p, now i understand what you meant by "its really hard to raise levels".....its a right ass when you get high in the f2p worlds....anyway, well with mining and smithing what i do...is i bulk ores to a set number {500, 1000, 1500 etc} and then i smith them and then go back out and bulk again.

For fishing and cooking - take a set amount of money e.g: 10k {don't have to just an example} and keep going back and forth fishing lobs and swordies, once you run out of money, or least dont have enough to go back to the island...then just cook what you have {or half it and sell half for more money}

crafting: mine loads of gold and just smelt rings/necklaces/amulets. If you get given gems from random events, keep them because then it doesn't cost you anything to buy them

Prayer: when killing, collect the bones, then bank them....store loads then bury away
