Well I have a dilemma...I cant decide on an armor. I can afford anything under 2m right now. My friends are suggesting either Torags, or a mixed type. The mixed would be Dragon Legs, with granite pl8 and sheild. The problem is..I cant decide between the two. I know Torags is better stats wise, but the whole deal with having to repair it is a turnoff to me, as im not the richest of RS players..
Could anybody give me advice that would help me decide between these two? Or are there any better armor options? I heard rune legs arent much worse than dragon legs, and it saves money, but i dunno... :P thanks

The smart choice for money would not be Dragon Legs, if you're thinking about money, go for the Dragon Skirt. (200k compared to 900k)
For a body, do NOT go with Granite Plate, unless you buy it from Barbarian Assault for only 90k. It's too heavy and reduces running speed drastically. I would go for Verac's Brassard or Torag's Platebody. Trust me, after 15 hours of wear...you would've already made over 100k. And if you don't want to wear it, just use a Rune platebody. If you've got the patience for BA, get the Fighter Torso. (money saved+strength bonuses)
Don't get an Obsidian Shield, get 65 attack and 65 strength to enter the Warrior's Guild to win the Rune Defender, it hits higher with 20+ stab 19+ slash 18+ crush, gives same strength as Obsidian Shield, and saves 250k by not buying Obsidian Shield.
For helmet, I would get a Berserker helmet, it's only 65k on the G.E. and gives strength. If you completed Fremmenik Isles, you can get a free Neizitnot Helm, which gives less strength than Berserker, but more Prayer. And it's free. More money saved.
For necklace, go with a basic Amulet of Glory, only 38k.
For your gloves, a Combat Bracelet, 50k and it gives +6 str and attack bonuses. (LEGENDS QUEST NOT REQUIRED TO WEAR IT)
For a ring, Ring of Wealth, gets ya more wealth...true fact that it gives 20% better chance of an uncommon drop from monster loot.
For boots, I would go with Rune Boots, because you're on a budget.
And for your weapon, well a Dragon Dagger (p++) always fits in every situation, save up for that whip.

Well it seems as Vscel4 has got a lot of it covered. Actually when I become a member, I may take that armor idea.
