Fastest iron mining?

You guys helped me with my fast coal mining dilemma(sp?). So now maybe you can help me with my fast iron mining dilemma(sp?). I usually mine iron in Ardougne. At the eastern Ardougne mine there are three iron rocks you can stand in the middle of and pivot to mine all three. Any time lost waiting for iron to spawn is made up for not having to move at all. The actual mining is very fast here. But I'm not sure it is actually the closest bank to the mining site though. Where do you guys think the best place is to mine iron? Thanks Brothers and Sisters.

hmm to mine iron i would have to say the underground caves in fally right down from the ladder there are coal and iron ores and there is a bank very close

If you do the Lost Tribe quest, you get access to the Dorgeshuun Mines - lots of iron and silver.
Assuming you've started Recipe for Disaster Quest (just started is good enough), then you have access to the bank chest in the Lumby Castle basement.

ya that actually is closer but you need alot of supplies and to do the quest so it is better to just do it my way

Thanks Fellas. All I needed was an excuse to start Recipe for Disaster. I Know I can't finish, all of it yet, at my level. But that bank in the basement will be useful. Plus if I'm correct Rune Gloves can be gotten from this quest. Well I'm off to start Recipe. Thanks.
