No yews are slow, but if you get high woodcutting lvl, and get a drago nwoodcutting axe (members only) then it might be a lot faster.

Also if you're a member you could go to Camelot, and pick flax there, the ban is quite near the flax place, so it's fast.

If you're free to play, I'd suggest Rune Making (Rune crafting skill). It is a good skill to make money, but takes time and patience, it is slow to level though, but when you get it high, you can be proud of your self :P.

This one's for free to play aswell, get a pickaxe (which suits your mining level) go to Varrocks rune shop, and teleport to Rune Essence mining area, and keep mining them until you think you've had enough, then go sell them.

All these require a lot of patience, anyway money making requires patience.

Mne pure ess and you get like 1M in 1 day! "its way fasyer then cutting yews" i have 73 wc and i find mining pure ess is so much quicker
