I painted my rune full helm and shield in my house, and they look marvelous. Soon, I'm going to want to upgrade to dragon, but I won't be able to sell the painted items - they're non-tradeable.
Aggie the Witch in Draynor removed paint from goblin mail in the Land of the Goblins quest, but won't remove this paint. Any ideas how I can turn the heraldic helm and shield back into normal rune?

You can't, once you've painted it, there is no going back o.O

you can high-alch it though. I high-alched my helm because I didn't like how it looked with the paint job.

What colour did you paint it, Sig0? Could you give us a screenshot?
(Is painting items members only?)

Is it free or member? Also, how do you paint those items?

Paintbrush please don't double post (posting 2 times in a row), just edit your previous post. :)
Ontopic: Just alch it and get a new one.. like everyone else is saying... lol.
You should suggest a "paint remover" to Jagex. :)
Paintbrush: You can only build houses on Runescape if you are a member and painting items is member's only as well. (Atleast I think so.)

It's a POH (Player owned House) which involves the construction skill, which is members only.

You can paint your helm or shield if you are a member, own a POH (a house), and build the pluming stand (for helms) and shield easel in your workshop. I'm working on getting a screenshot, but it's not easy at work =/
