theres about 20 coal ores there

Wow, you are only level 20-30 and already a member? Most people don't recommend becoming members until level 60 combat.

I have heard that the coal trucks mine is indeed the best place to mine coal in p2p.

i wouldnt buy ess even if it was 1 gp each its wasting money thats what i think anyone who will buy ess is lazy and they dont want to mine there own this is not good advice youd have to be really strong to do it and im poor so this is impossible for me and why you need to be really strong is:most of the good rewarding quests are across white wolf mounten im a level 22 and the only reason i try to cross it is because i have a sense of adventure im just saying to me 5 k would be sweet 10 k id faint...im not trying to say its not good advice just my thoughts you might like to of heard them... :|
