Should i wear Berserker Helm or Rune full helm
And G Maul or Rune Weapon? berserker but you need to do the quest first, and rune weapon because g maul is way to slow.

I'd organize that bank too - you get so much more bank space as a member, that it gets out of hand really quickly. Put all your gems together, all your clothes together, all your armour, etc. Start now, keep it tidy, you'll be happy you did.
I'd also do all the quests you can at your level-you'll get some good exp. out of them. Raise your smithing and fire to 49 (won't take long), and do the Tears of Guthix quest right away. Once you do that one, you get to go drink the tears once a week, which gives you free exp in your lowest stat.
Have fun!

Yeah-burn many things. "Tears" is awesome. In the next few days, gather feathers, too. And regular logs as well. They will come in mad handy for fletching (arrows shafts plus feathers plus arrow heads). A lot of both.
You may want to collect eyes of newt and limp roots, too. Early herblore uses them.
Early quests: Tears; the one that lets you do herblore Jungle Potion (for Heroes Quest); Wolf Whistle for summoning and dogs and such; and Gertrudes Quest for all the further cat quests and a cat if u want one.

Ah, forgot: start slayer. Pretty good drops and raises combat level at same time. It also leads you around to new areas.

1. Clothes and weapons: I made 60s in my melee skills with just rune.
2. Getting nice money: You mean like 100k or millions? I agree that Slayer monsters drop better stuff than the average monster. So often, I've found that skills=money. Mostly, it's because a lot of players don't have the attention span to get better at skills, so they are willing to pay out cash for those of us with the patience.
3. Where should I kill monsters, and which ones? Moss giants look to be a good bet for you. The ones northwest of Ardougne are usually crowded, though. I suggest getting very well acquianted with Karamja, the Tzhaar caves under the Karamja volcano (for the bank and fight pits).
4. Which skills: Agility is your friend for getting around with ease - go visit the Gnomes northwest beyond Ardougne to begin. It's tedious, but the energy savings is really worth it! Farming and Herblore go hand in hand. They really aren't that boring - just plant the seeds and walk away. Runecrafting will pay in the long run - I never need to pay a coin for cosmics, chaos or nature runes. (Now if I can just get up to Laws...). A little smithing and fletching lets you make a ton of iron or steel arrows. That's always easy money.
Other stuff: Keep your Ghostspeak Amulet handy for visiting Port Phasmytist (sp?). There's a forge very near the bank, you know...
Quests give sexy abilities! You get access to gnome gliders, spirit tree travel, fairy rings and all those things that save you beaucoup Law Runes. Finding the Lost Tribe gets you easy iron ore, and Lost City is just very, very neat.
Try your hand at the Achievement Diaries. I get a lot of mileage out of my Karamja gloves and Varrock armour.
I'll think of more stuff, I'm sure...

Not to overload you, but check out helper site like Rune HQ for mini games you might like. Want goofy fish hat and yellow flippers? You bomb jogres near Reldo's hut. Barbarian dude lets you start fires with bow and fish barehanded. Once your hunter is in the teens, you can do Impetuous Whatever and catch implings in Lost City (post quest) or crop circle (random appearance) and get funky food once you hit gourmet implings. And there's Barrows. Little down the road. For cool armor. Welcome to an RS world with almost too much to do.

Impetuous Implings? Impulses? The Gnome Cooking mini-quest is fun for cooking under time-pressure. Not a lot of money, but good fun and exp.

Father Urhnay in Lumbridge will give you another one. You can use it in the "Creature of Fenkenstrain," "Ghosts Ahoy", "Making History", and "Animal Magnetsim" quests (according to RuneHQ).

And it (ammy of boo) makes banking in Port Phantasmys quicker. Closest furance to a bank anywhere for making bars out of ore, jewelry or glass making. Research "Preist in Peril" quest. It's easy and opens up like a fifth of the map to you. The swamp in a pain in the neck but has some important quests and other stuff there.

this is how I make money..
i either cut yews in varrock and sell at grand exchange roughly around 10k per load of 28....they sell right away
or I mine mith bars in falador and sell them also at the grand exchange which doesnt take too long to sell...
my final way that I make money is I mine gold bars get or buy saphires, emeralds,or rubysusually rubys and make ruby amulets which i then get wool and make into ruby amulets or saphire amulkets and yet again sell at the grand exchange for a pretty good sum of money...I either sell at grand exchange or the port sarim jewelry shop

If you're not quite member yet, collect some chickens raw and iron ore for new summoning skill. And if you have room in bank, store up a few buckets for making compost for farming. Once it's rotten, you need 15 bucket to use on bin. Don't buy, pick up free in sotuh Fally farm or Lumby farm. Compost is low/mid level ingrediant for summoning, too.
SigO
28th January 2008, 05:03 PM
For making compost, you need more than buckets. Use a rake on the farming allotments to get weeds. Put 15 weeds into the compost bin and shut it. Some number of hours later, it'll be compost. then you can use your 15 buckets on the bin to get the compost out.
sethdad
29th January 2008, 03:35 PM
Yeah. You need weeds or herbs or veggies to throw into bin. Cabbage or taters will do. .You member yet?
