Does hsoul x mage mean the detail select?

Anyway if you want to have less lag on runescape try these:

Don't have too many programs running at the same time because this slows down your computer.

Try to keep your virus/spyware/trojan software up date and scan at lesat once a week. This will get rid of any keyloggers and spyware/viruses you have.

Try to avoid/cut-down surfing the internet whhile you play - stuff like checking sites and opening e-mails all slow down your internet connection

Hope this stuff works!!!

it depends on what kind of internet you have
because if you have dial-up chances are its gonna be really slow
now i have dial-up and for some reason its not as slow as you would think
but that's maybe because i don't do 2 things at once...

The banner uptop of f2p screens lag most of the people...its not ur internet connection or how many programs you run...theres certain banners that do to much animation stuff and thats what causes to make you lag...right click it and choose detail select and choose LOW and that should speed it up alot.

the programs you run along with runescape shouldnt lag you unless its something like o lets say...WarcraftIII or II or something like that....
