How does poison and specials effect your xp?

Some people say they raise it.... Some it it decreases it........... Some say they have no effect to it......... Which is true?

Well if special attacks and normal attacks hit they give you exp..
Poison just lowers your hp every minute until you cure it..

I mean like when you poison orspecial someone..

specials can sometimes give u a good amount of xp, better than regular attacks, but some specials just remain the same (Including the Whip and the D scim)

poison is just an add-on damage to the enemy, u dont gain any experience from poisoning someone, nor does it decrease

^ pretty much, but specs can hit really hard compared to a normal attack from the same wep. Poisons dont do much except when you hit, the person being hit loses more hp after the hit (in some seconds I figure) <--- making things easier 2 kill.
