Yeh you need to use specific arrows (dragon) to perform descent of Dragons (hence the name)

May i just add, the minimum hit for dragon arrows is 8-8 (spec). Max is 48-48 at 99 range, eagle eye and maybe void knight (apparently it raises the max hit).
