Well seeing as hybrids have an extra skill than pures, their hp will most probably be higher, unless its magic and they didnt level hp.

Hybrids are good as you can use a variety of attacks, unlike pures. If you see a def nub, you can mage him, but if you see another pure, you can melee/range him.
