Faster mining

K since when you have a better mining lvl yu mine faster, a better pick you mine faster, when you have good str you should mine faster to, because you guy would be stronger and he would be able to mine faster, this would also make bots less effective because then people with good strength could mine faster than them.

Mining is mining, it would defeat the point of having such a stat if people with 99 strength could beat people with 99 mining in terms of speed.

Mining is, unfortunately, just one of those skills that's unbearably a pain to raise. Having str thrown in would be like getting two skills for one, and I don't think that will happen.

it does not take for ever to level. its actually pretty easy.. but its a pain to stay motivated

If you combined str and mining, that would defeat the whole purpose of having rune picks:s

or they should make it so to use a rune pick at all you must have 40 attack then not as many bots would be mining.

It actually used to be this way, until skillers got angry and they changed it.

Drink dwarf stout--it raises your mining/smithing for a bit which, in theory, makes you mine faster. It messes with other stats though.

i agree the higher the mining lvl the faster you mine. strength should not help you since that is a different skill

Strength is for dragon killing, NOT mining. Plus that would screw up skiller accounts.
