2 Combat Questions

First of all I was wondering if you hit more accurate hits with a combat weapon while wearing a med helm then a full helm. I heard this rumor but it is also mentioned in the runescape guide book made by Jagex to guide you through runescape it says that wearing a full helm may obstruct your vision and in one fight against my friend we both had 40 att but my friend was wearing addy med helm and i was wearing addy full helm and for some reason i kept hitting 0's while he barely hit 0's so does wearing a med helm make your hits more accurate?

Secondly,this is a quick question, but do you hit slightly quicker without a shield? When i mean hit i mean with a combat weapon?

hmm, I have never actually heard of that before lol.
One way you could find out would be to check the stats the helmet gives you. example +on slash or something which i highly doubt it does.

you do not hit slower when wearing a sheild, it may seem slower but its not.
