Mage + Def PuRe

Is it a good idea to make a mage/def pure? I mean you'd deal heavy damage but be able to block some aswell..any ideas?

I believe the term is "tank mage" and I think soul is trying to do that as of right now, only thing I can think of is use the def thing when you use magic to train your def other then that your on your own

Aww .. so I could have gotten much more def if only I had asked earlier and kept on using defensive .. :evil:

I think it would be a good idea. I used to have a tank mage once, and was feared for the 10 seconds I attacked someone. Then someone else came along and killed me, and that was the end of that. But it was one of the best times I've ever had, which is saying alot, because I usually never have good times on runescape.

tank mages r good.....but to train to the maximum defense dont u need armour?and u cant hit hard with armour on
