Is there a place I can go on F2P to get the planks and nails, or should I just buy them from someone? About how much would it cost to buy them?

I would Go to less poulated world and Go to Hillz which is in 17-19 wild i think? but theres only 1 plank..so you'll have to bring food incase of pkers...or if ur mem you could just go to the sawmill=)

PLANKS in wilderness level like 18 or something and the nails u can make your self, or if your smithing level is too low than buy some or ask ur friends to make em.

Gamo, Even if you did have 99 everything, I don't care and neither does anybody else. It has absolutely no relevance to the original post unless u are going to say that u are going to give me the materials or something. And blaze is right, if you were 99 everything your total lvl would be in the thousands. But anyways, I didn't think that non-members could make nails. Can they?

nope but they can buy nails in f2p.planks are made by members but f2p can still get them from people.

gamo. wut's u're rs name. I checked under gamo_man on the highscores and you were nowhere to be found. But anyways, thanks everybody for the help. i believe that this will definitely be the hardest part of the quest, except for possibly Elvarg himself.

In ftp, the planks are northwest of edgeville, 19 or 20 in a graveyard. Don't wear your best armor. They are also on Crandor near where your ship crashes but you need to get there once there to get them. Catch-22. If you have a friend who's done quest, he can grab you some. Or if you go to Karmaja, you can ask someone to get three for you. I've done it before. Nails-if you have or can buy steel bars, hang out near Varrock anvils and someone might smith them for you unless the world is filled with selfish noobs.

I'm really hoping that me and pirate will be on at the same time as me. That would be great. I'm just kinda trying to get a backup plan in case we aren't. And wow, Gamo, you are a runescape GOD!!!! Anytime you want to pk me, just let me know because I would feel so honored if you killed me, or at least let me kiss your feet. :eyebrow: But seriously, thanks everyone for your help. Thanks everyone for the advice and help. For the few who care to know, I killed Elvarg. I've been on and off rs for about 3 years and have never completed all of the quests. But now I finally have.

that's cool man. np. I just went into the wildy and got the planks. I was trying to stay out of there cause there are a lot more pkers than there used to be. I'm not really scared of one, maybe two of them. But most attack in groups. It's not that bad late at night though.
