People sell them as a scam by advertising them at high prices such as 15k, 20k, etc. Don't buy 'em. And no, I don't have any either.

polished buttons are only good for members man. but you only need em once for a quest. i dont remember which one though

Members quest, Animal Magnetism, I think. Kill some HAM guards or pickpocket HAM people if your theiving is high enough. You get regular buttons and like the guys said, you click on the polish or rub or whatever option.

You need 20 theiving for female HAM members and 25 for males, males give better stuff

Buttons are a semi rare steal from ham members.

It's for a member quest and the button is pointless other wise, you usually find people selling them at the Grand Exchange, but they now can't rip you off because of the unbalanced trade thing.
