I keep hearing people say not to train on strength. Is this true, and if so, is it possible? I use the 3rd icon down (controlled I think), which boosts all three stats. The top icon just boosts attk, does the second icon just train attk and def? Also, does the style of attack you use matter on the monster your're fighting. I mean is it better to use one attack one this monster, and another type of attack on another?

second is strngth,
last is defence.
first attack.
BTW. strngth is REALLY useful. everything is. I would say strngth and defence.
So u can wear stuff armor and swords.
With strngth u hit more and defence so u can wear beter armor.
But boosting them all would work 2

It actually depends on the weapon. Some weapons have 2 controlled or 2 strength tabs.

However:

Accurate works on Attack
Aggressive works on Strength
Defensive works on Defence

Attack lvl affects how accurate you hit, as well as what kind of weapons u can use
Strength lvl affects how hard you can hit
Defense lvl makes it harder for enemies to hurt you, as well as what kind of armor u can use

I suggest getting Attack and Str up, and keeping them pretty even. Defence should be a little behind them, and you should keep increasing it too so you can wear better armor the higher your combat is.

ok, no need fore a tutorof how rs works here. i checked on rune tips it. 100% accurate it says that controlled is more effective than trainning def, strnth, attack seperatly. it takes longer for results, but once it does have it, it will hall be nice
i suggest getting def then attack then strmth.
y:
high def means almost no damage. plenty of food left over for training oattack and strnth.
attack: you can hit more times. which is better: hitting a 6 twice or aa 9 and a o? no hit is 0. so there's morechance of zero.
with strnth, comon' u can always cheat with strnth potions... +10 strnth lvls1
