Stats would help us decide what would be the best money-making tactic for you.

Woodcutting: Chop yews or willows and sell
Mining: Mine Coal and Iron and sell ( Or make into Steel Bars for smithing Xp and then sell )
Smithing: Get Coal and Iron however you can and sell Steel Bars, 600gp each

Buy Coal and Iron and make into Steel bars, should yield a profit.
