Lets say your whip is about 1.5m in value.To get one i suggest using either one of your methods.

You will need to sell 5k yews at 300 each for a whip.
You will need to sell 4687.5 yews at 320 each for a whip.
You will need to sell 6k raw lobbies at 250 each for a whip
You will need to sell 6521 raw lobbies at 230 each for a whip
