A pure mage is someone with ONLY mage out of all combat level-raising skills right?

And, pure mage does the most damage in f2p right?

Well its like this

lvl 1 - 28ish = mages own
lvl 29 - 45ish = rangers
lvl 50+ is pretty even between range and strength pures, but mages get owned at higher combat.

Thats just my opinion anyway.

i used to be a pker.
you are f2p, i suppose. that means you cant use poion. and poisned daggre is easily parried by antipotion.
i used to be a poison freak. its not that worth it. and its not that good either...

anyways, only is short trem are mages the best. strength pures own later on ingame.
however later on is almost balanced (unlike p2p pk)

best: str pure and mage

no. pure is used to suprise people and hit high for their level. with high strenghh you are able to hit high, and you have low level. so othre normal peopel at your level is suddenly suprised by your damage you do.
however, unlike the popular misconception, pures are not good against mains except it rare cases (such as p2p, ancient and super rich....buit these are super rare)
poepel with balanced arsenal of range mage melee and defence and attack are the winners.
however, peopel will gte scared and not fight you if you are too high of a level.
strenghth pures applirickery because they look weak but they are much stronger than a regular guy around his level.

okay... so to me, that sounds like pures are the best.
Anyway, are you sure that it f2p, after lvl 70 or so, mage, melee and range is balanced out and are all good? Cus i started on a pure mage.

yes its all balanced out. unlss you want to be p2p, i suggest you be warrior.

And what type of warrior? Str pure or attack, defense and str warrior?

I find that f2p is much easier and relaxed lolz

str if you are too lazy to be balance. def or attack is not good. def warrior cant hit anything attack warriors do 1 to 0 damage.
all in all, i sgguest no pure unless you want to pk for life.

Are most good member pkers str pures?
And, u know the helmet that has horns and looks like bone? Do you need attak to wear it?

they done become a pure anymore and get all the other sutff you cant get from a pure.
oh, did i mention, bevcause a warrior need defense to wear draogn or barrows or rune, strnth pures are at loss.
my strongest suggestion is not to become a pure and become a main. main? what is that? its like training everything. kepeing it all balanced out. no 99 strngth and 1 def. tryo to make levels all same.
that way you come to pk, you say...oh! mage! switch to range. oh! range switch to warrior. so you are protected against all combat situations, except for the overly powerful ancient mage.
and very small amount of poepel reach 99. it kills. ever tried getting 1 million xp? or even half of that? i have over 1 mill xp, and i have 86 something woodcutting, and i am a woodcutter for life. you will need 13 million xp for 99 so... chances of becoming 99 pure is slim.
p2p is very nice. if you do choose to be p2p, pm me for any p2p questions. im interested in helping a new p2p guy ;)

Str Pures are really bad in high level wildy and can easily be defeated by a person with high range or a person with ancient magiks

Check the wildy triangle (on most help websites)
