What does a ring of life do?

as the title say what does it do?? I bought one for 12k.....

oh if ur low on hp (10% or less left) it teles you to the place where you respawn without losign items. oits like nothing happen if you die thingy that works once, but its not fool profe; over 10% hp loss, you die anyways. it did save my life once at barrows killing dhrock, though.

^^ just wear it around. who knows, it may save your life one day. but dont test your ring though.... because it is not completely foolproof. better not take the chance if you dont have to (and waste a ring of lifei n the process)
oh, it works with poison, too. so like you are poisoned (not triabl poson though) and the damage it does is not higher than 10 % of your hp. and you are stuck deep into a dungeon. let it do damage (assuming the mosnters cant reach you right now) and when it hapens, it will teleport you for free ^^
but emergency use only.

You can only use it once. usually they go for about 10k, so unless you can make them yourself, don't waste it.

If you are hit by something that can kill you in one blow you will still die - for example, you've got 28 hp left, but that's greater than 10% of your total, so you are okay, until a dragon comes up and smokes you with a 30 point hit. You are dead and your stuff is gone.

yep, I got that from the knowledge base when I got my ring. wear it, but be careful of creatures with high single hits, they can kill you if they hit you down to zero with one hit. I was assuming the ring destroys itself, since all of the other enchanted rings & necklaces do.

Also, be careful when you are poisoned. The ring will tele you to Lumby (or Falador) when you get <10%, but it will NOT cure the poison. I died that way once. My stuff was right there, but somebody else got most of it. Luckily he gave me back everything except the food I had.

Its very helpful, I have a friend who would've died during barrows (woulda lost a verac's helm), but his ROL saved him.

guys, i already explained this to him now 50 posts popped up saying what i said.
it is, basically, a rosseta stone. it keeps you from dieing and tele you to your respawn location!!!
it doies! even if the guy hits x2!
so im techincally more compelte than 'tele to your respawn location'.

it teles u to lumbridge if your like under 10% of hp, but if a person takes more than that and u have no health, sucks for you you lose your stuff

not lumbrige. the respawn point. if you have repawn point changed to fally like me, you will be teled to fally.
