i just heard somewhere u shouldnt carry skulls

well the skull over your head means when u die you lose everything
but real skulls i have no idea, but i do no the one in wizard tower is for the restless ghost quest

if you have a skull over your head you got it because you attacked somebody first and you lose everything if you die :shock:

yep, i have first hand experience in this, you will lose everything, even your three best items, if you die.

BUT! you will keep one item if you use the item protect prayer

You get a skull for attacking players in wilderness or going to abyss on members, which is like a runecrafting altar but theres monsters and you can go to any altar you want.
if you die with one you lose all items instead of keeping most expensive 3.

and the real skulls on the floors are just there, but sometimes when u clik on them, a zombie appears, so ya.

They basically dont do anything at the moment except for help you out with that quest =\
