Air Running Questions??`

:blink: Does anyone know how to make money by air running?... Yah, I know you can make 2k for practically free, but I wanna know how the people that are buyin the ess make money...If you are one of the people that buy the ess in air running plz comment or reply on this thread, bcuz i am getting confused cuz it seems that they are just handing out 2k for free??:blink:

Many of them are losing money ... but that is common for people that want to train quickly. Check out gold smelting or law running.

That said here is the math:
Original ess cost - 25-30+ea
Trade cost (2k/25) - 80ea
Total = ~110ea

Selling price for Airs - 15-20ea

That means you need to be getting 7 or 8 airs per ess to breakeven. At RC 66 you get 7/ess and at RC 77 you get 8/ess.

Main reason for air runecrafting in world 16 is indeed fast experience. But when your runecrafting is high enough, you actually make money along the way.

When you reach lvl 55, you start getting 6 air runes from one essense.
So you get 150 runes from 25 essense. And you can sell air runes 20 ea.
It means that from every load you get 3000 gp
3000 - 2000 (to the runner) - 20*25 (for the essense) = 500 gp pure profit

Other milestones:
lvl 66 - 7 runes
lvl 77 - 8 runes
lvl 88 - 9 runes
lvl 99 - 10 runes

people who make the airs do not make a profit only xp.

at higher levels u spend more money then u make in most skills.. if u do them the fast way.
