How Do you Guys Earn Money?

I've been smithing for a very long time and get a fairly nice amount like 1.4k every trip. I could smith up to steel plate for now, but I wonder how do you guys get so much money like 200k because I want full Rune.

If you are looking to make money don't make steel plate. Stop at steel bars, you can sell them for 550 - 600ea. 400 steel bars should buy you a full set of rune.

I've made my best money selling runes (air, fire & chaos mostly), cannon balls & enchanted jewelry.

Also, you should always be on the look-out for people needing particular itemd in a hurry. Single laws for 1k are the most common thing, but I've sold elemental runes, bronze bars, vials of water, dueling rings, gaming necklaces, balls of wool and any number of other things for 10 to 100 times thier normal value. My latest trade was 6 buckets and 6 pots (Ghost Ahoy) for an Ammy of Power.

Getting rich in RS is something you have to work on just like a skill.

if your f2p then mining is the way to go, keep mining and merchant is a great way at the same time

I merchant by buying/fletching/high-alaching Yew long bows, and Magic Short bows, (5 More Lv.'s to Magic Long's) :).

If you want to get your combat level up and make money, then killing hill giants (level 28) is the way to go. Collect their big bones and sell them. It just takes practice in selling them.

its not worth to waste ur time on smithing to get real big money go pk or merchanting!!

Runecraft....eiva nats if p2p or airs if f2p......

Because at lyke lvl 22 rc u can tripple airs so u make ur money back on 1 ess because its lyke 30 gp because its normal....

If you making nats then buy pure ess, around 20 glorys and use the abyss to rc :) ( always take a 1 click tele, ie ectophuncs, teletab)

if u wanna raise combat and earn money, the #1 place to go in f2p is sewers near the deadly red spiders get eggs sell for like 500-800ea
i got like 1k in a day i suggest to be at least lvl 50 or have a really good def due to the fact that all spiders WILL attack you. if u need anymore tip pm me or msg me in game with my range tanker

If you want to make money through smithing, then here is some suggestions:

1. Mine Iron Ore and smelt it into bars and sell the iron bars for 200gp or so;

2. Mine Iron Ore, buy (or mine) coal and smelt into steel bars and sell the steel bars for 550-600gp.

3. Mine Iron ore, buy (or mine) coal and smelt into steel bars and then smelt into cannonballs to sell at 200gp each (therefore each steel bar has an equivalent value of 800gp each, however, the smelting process takes longer from start to finish).

4. Mine Iron Ore, smelt it to bars and make Iron Knives (this is what I used to do, although I used to pay people to smelt the iron for me). There is not as much demand for iron knives nowadays due to the vast number of various range items being introduced. Although if you had sufficient bulk of iron knives you could realistically sell them for 40gp each. When I done this I had a production line and was creating between 400k-500k iron knives per week. Although I am level 99 smithing now and many of my suppliers no longer play runescape, it may be a viable method providing you can line up the buyers.

The 4 methods outlined above can all enable you to make money while smithing, both on free to play and member servers. Although cannonballs and iron knives are limited to members, the basic smelting into bars can be done for both free to play and members.
