what do i do with oak/willow unstrung bows?

title explains it all.. im not familiar with fletching and i need some answers fast!!

what do i do with oak/willow unstrung bows? i made them for fletching xp and im wondering what do i do with them?? do i throw them or make money from them or eat them? :?

seriously, drop them or better sell in a general store. Don't waste bow strings on them. I raised my fletch on willows by buying tons of willow logs 30ea, making unstrung and selling unstrung bows to general store for 16gp (or 14 - don't remember)

personally I would pick flax, make bowstrings and string them then sell them in varrock archery shop.... hopping worlds to get the best prices. I did this when I was raising my fletching. If you do you basically make some money and raise crafting making the strings and then also raise fletching again when you string them. Yes it takes more time but you also raise to skills and get some money too

To make a willow/oak bow, follow these steps:

1) Sing the Alphatbet Song
2) Woodcut the logs you want to make into a bow
3) Use a knife on the log to make it into the type of unstrung bow you want
4) Go to Seers Village or another area to pick flax
5) Use the flax on a spinning wheel like the one in lumbridge castle to make a bowstring
6) Use the bowstring on the unstrung bow to make it strung

No, you don't have to drop them. Sell all of them to the General store as they are now, unstrung. Save the bowstrings for better woods like yew and magics.
The best way to sell all of them is to first note and withdraw all of them
Next you put them all in the 2nd or 3rd row from the bottom.
Then change you mouse input in the RS to one button (Default is two buttons), this is at the maintenance button, or wrench.
Now, if you have set it up correctly all you have to do is left-click, left-click, left-click, left-click, left-click, left-click, left-click, et cetera, for 1,000 clicks. You will be selling 10 bows at a time. It doesn't take that long to sell them all, I did this before. It is much better than dropping. You can make more money doing this than with most training skills.

Or you could search the forums for people buying unstrung willows at 19gp each. Well the time when I sold my 7k unstrung willows I sold them all at 19 each...
