Need advice

I need to know something about the dragon slayer quest i want to know do yall think i could take Elvarg on?
My strength is 51 defense is 41 attack is 40 and my hit points are about 45
I have full addy and rune skimmy my max hit is 11and before i do the quest i will probaly switch to full steel cause i dont want to lose addy.
Also how many potions should i bring and which ones and how much food should i bring?

Actualy, with those stats if you just brought along a full inventory of lobsters if would work out. Just make sure you have an Anti-Dragon shield from Duke Horacio. If you really want to own Elvarg then bring a strength pot (4), a prayer pot (depending on if your prayer is high enough to be useful), a couple runes to cast curses on the dragon. What I wouldn't do is use swordies for food, they are overrated, and I would rather be mugged by gnomes than to forget the Anti-Dragon shield. It is crucial to the quest

I wouldnt switch to addy, but rather upgrade to rune legs and chain. The anti fire shield is a must. and I would go with a str ammy and str pot. Swordies are not overrated....... they provide more restore than lobs. I did it at a lower lvl with that stuff and had no problem. If you are worried about losing addy, take a tele set with you in case
