how come runescape made its money gp?
how come they didnt make it like rs change or sumthin lol

I guess its because they saw alot of other games using GP or something....

but that would be copying how come they didnt call them pennys and dimes since its based on olden days ( runescape needs a china town)

its based in medievil fantasy times and basicly a ll fantasy games have gold as their currency, as they did in some medevil cultures

gp means gold peices they put that because back then no one used nickles and dimes they always used gold u get it??? :?:

gp stands for gold pieces
runescape gold must not be worth much if people can have billions of gold pieces

gold pieces are the standard currency in most games similar to runescape, ranging from roman war games to futuristic single player rpgs. altho ye they coulda thought of somethin original hehe like final fantasy and Gil :D

It is following the mdeieval theme, gold was commonly used as currency back then and they just kinda ran with the idea.
