dragon slayer quest

ok im thinking of doing the dragon slayer quest. im only level 46 CB lol im lvl 44 mage i have full addy including boots but im getting full rune soon and i have a rune 2h. my prayer is only lvl 26 :(

i can get invent full of sharks or other food. so should i attempt to do it? if i should what armour should i ware and should i mage it or melee it?

plz help me ty :D

Melee it.
Full rune with rune chain.
I've done it at level 39 before, and at that I could have done it at level 35.
Bring runes, if you get low health, run behind a pillar, and mage the dragon, then heal, run back out. Use rune scimmy, as its faster (r2h hits 15s with me and runescim hits 13s, and the runescim hits TWICE as fast, so your hitting 26 instead of 15)
Prayer is fine, use the strength pray and def.
Make sure your using anti dragon shield
Use lobbies.

I am with dragon melee with the best armor u can use bring lobbies or sharks and tele runes just in case :wink: otherwise you should be good and use pray if u want i would prob just use for defence if i were you.

omg never mage it i had 54 mage and didnt kill it, i had 47 str and killed it BIG TIP FOR ALL OF U DRAGON SLAYER QUESTERS lol :mrgreen:

Im pretty sure u can beat it. I was 37 when i beat it grew to lvl 45. I maged it w/ only 35 mage (fire bolt) lol. it worked though i ran outta lobbs, chaos, and only had 6 hp left. So i recommend u to beat, ur member so u also have a advantage of bringing sharks and other stuff.

So.......I Did dragon slayer at lvl 45 combat lvl and i was only wearing NOTHING

hey man the best equipment u should bring is........

rune scimmy, wizzy robes(he usually cast spell on you first can take to 50's), rune chain, rune legs, full helm, rune kite, rune boots(members only) and probably some swordies and lobbies :o :o

Emm... If you're a ranger guy, Plz use a Crossbow, in order to wield Anti-Dragon Sheild as well, and ranging helps a little if you have a good enough lvl. Also, bring Tuna, Swordies, Lobbies, and maybe sharks, I think. For the big guys who still haven't done the dragon slayer quest yet, then I'd suggest bringing Manta food. Highest lvl of food I think, but peeps like alot of sharks. :wink:

When Maging, OF COURSE wear Green D-hide Pants and maybe vams, and wizard top and hat, and use spells of Fire atk 2nd lvl spell, and up. Bring deaths if you are lvl 41 Mage and above.

If you are about lvl 30 def and atk, and maybe 40 str, it should be no problem beating Elvarg. Probably bringing full addy helps, and basically prayer helps, and when things get rough, Tele out of there, and USE A ANTI DRAGON SHEILD, otherwise, you won't be able to beat him...

Sadly, I still haven't done this quest. :| :( Anyone still ain't done the quest and would like to do it with me? 8)
