what is the best way to get mage lvl up?

my mage lvl is 10 and i want to get it to at least lvl 50...but im not sure what the best way to do it is. can any one plz help me? :? :?:

well there are a couple ways...a cheap but slow way and a rather more expensive way and an expensive way:

1)cheap but slow way- buy about 2k body runes from the rune store in varrock and the other required runes for the weaken spells. and train with that.

2)more expensive way- buy about 7k minds in world 1,3,4,5 in varrock west bank and the other required runes for fire strike. use fire strike all the way to 50 mage.

3)expensive but quick way- buy about 5k chaos and work your way up to fire bolt and
crumble undead... use that to 50 mage.

teleing to varrock mutliple times is a very quick way to 50. of course once you reach 25 mage. it shouldnt be that hard to get it up. Good Luck.

i'd say the best way for now is 2 do it the cheap way (for now) get behind something like a bush in lumbridge and fire a spell at a goblin i only say this because if u fire at a guard and u mess up ur dead o and once u get ur mage lvl up to 25 i think u can law run meaning u can keep on teleporting to the same spot over and over again altho law running is an easy way 2 raise mage it DOESNT RAISE THE HITPOINTS LVL and i think hitpoints is an important part of runescape. unless of course u r a pure mage which then u might not want to raise hitpoints because hitpoints raise ur combat lvl and the difference between ur mage and ur combat lvl (if u are a pure) should be dramaticly huge because u want 2 "hide" ur mage lvl as much as u can hope that helps lol (its a bit much but i type fast so it dusnt matter lol)

yeah, basically the way i trained my mage from 10 to 30 was on cows... they don't do any damage except the occasional 1 or 2 and they have 8 hp... so 32 xp per cow... makes it easy to level up....

oh and get your runecrafting up enough to make a bunch of mind runes... that way you can just buy a crap-ton of elemental runes and your saving money and raising another skill at the same time

Use the highest damage spell u can till u get to lvl 55 magic then save some money, buy 1k nats and 1k mage longs and high alch them then repeat :D You wont lose ANY money!

yeah buy you need money to get the bows and nats lol but if you have the money then heck yea.

You won't be able to high alch until you have lvl 55 magic, which is above the 50 that you are going for.

many people sell yew longs for 600 each, and I think that they high alch for 786 or 718, sopmething like that.

and if you only buy one mage long at a time then they can sell for up to 5k+, but in large quanities they are much lower.
