Smelting it is members only. All you have to do is mine it and give it to Thurgo with the 2 iron bars and he'll make you the sword.

If you need some Quest help, check out http://www.runehq.com/ , and no you don't smith the blurite. You just mine/buy it, and give it to Thurgo. Smelting Blurite is for members only.
