I think so. You can sell what ever you Fletch and make some money back. I think it takes 2 weeks from 80-99.

Id make (u) maple longs. You make money. Well u make junk but u make money. Do until u can make yew longs. The those until mage longs. Then those to 99.

Ahh, good old Fletching. I remember the time I got 80 Fletching. What a nubcake I waz :D.
Back to topic, you most definitely could. Buy most of the logs (Yews, for now) and turn into (u) longs and shorts. You could also make a fraction of the money back, if you're determined. You could get 99 Fletch in about 2-3 weeks if you're dedicated =D.

Listen I am 99 fletching and the best thing to do if you want 99 fletching is yew long bows. You actually earn a little bit of money right now making them and they give the second fastest fletching experience in the game. Trust me. :) I got 1-99 fletching without losing a single dime...in fact I made some money. I just got 99 fletching about 2 weeks ago so my information is up to date about the money issue.
