From the south gate of Falador, walk west until you are in-line with the Chainmail Shop to the north. Now walk due south, and the altar should be right in front of you.

Don't forget elemental tiara--saves a spot in pack. If you equip axe and have wc level, you can cut yews on way back to bank.

Neptune,if you have 50 runecraft, you can go to the great orb project, and spend your tokens on air altar teleports, which teleport you directly to the altar.

You arn't gonna do air the whole way, right? Multiple runes wont give multiple xp... so air is horriable xp at high lvls. Are you getting 50 rc for rc guild?

Chaos runes are good, I'm funding all of my recent Construction with them. The XP is ridiculous, I've gained two levels from Chaos alone.
