The Road to 99 Fletching in Runescape
Getting to level 99 fletching is not by any means easy, its long, time consuming and if u buy all the logs from level 1 to level 70 its very expensive, but once you reach 70 fletching you have the ability to make yew longbows. These will make you loads of money and so is probably the best part and the main reason that many people train fletching. Here is my suggested route to get to 99 fletching:
Level 1 - 10
Cut down normal trees and fletch them into arrow shafts then add feathers to them to make headless arrows, this will help in the future with already having the arrow shafts for any arrows later on.
Level 10 - 20
Start making longbows out of the logs DO NOT STRING THEM as you will just be wasting money.
Level 20 - 25
Now move on to making oak shortbows and remember DO NOT STRING THEM as its a waste of money.
Level 25 - 35
Start making oak longbows and remember DO NOT STRING THEM.
Level 35 - 40
Now move on to willow short bows and DO NOT STRING THEM .
Level 40 - 50
Now make willow longbows, DO NOT STRING THEM .
Level 50 - 55
Next move on to maple shortbows. these give good xp and are quite fast if u have a good wc lvl and DO NOT STRING THEM .
Level 55 - 70
make maple longbows all the way to 70 because yew shortbows are far too slow and if you wish to buy them will lose you money extremely quickly. DO NOT STRING THEM .
Level 70 - 99
Make yew longbows and STRING THEM ALL then sell them to high alcers or alc them yourself.
To get to level 99 from level 70 you will need to make 82k yew longbows. So good luck and start stockpiling yew logs now.
Now, go to Catherby with 100k. In the fletching shop [by the range, by the fishery] buy your skill cape of the shopkeeper! Equip and you'll have 100 fletching!
Congratulations!
